Introduction

Hey my name is Shay Barr-Poole. I am a public health major and I am a sophomore at UNC-Charlotte. I love to shop, hang out with my friends, spend time with my family, laugh, listen to music and just have a good time. I mean who doesn't?

I have never been a huge fan of writing. It is starting to grow on me though. I will defiantly admit that I am not the “best” writer but I am not the “worse” either. I guess you can say I fall somewhere in between. But then again what makes anyone a good writer anyway.

This is my first time doing this blog thing (I am a lot more experienced with things like twitter) and I am not sure how I feel about it just yet. However, I am writing this blog as an assignment for my English 1102 class. This is a great way for me to share my writing and viewpoints with my classmates. It is also a great way for me to get a little constructive feedback from them.
